Roots of a conspiracy: Psychology and Education in the work of Jean Jacques Rousseau



This paper analyzes since a historical approach one of the fundamental aspects in the relationship between the fields of Psychology and Education: the work of Jean Jacques Rousseau. We argue that this relationship originated with the discovery of the children as an educative subject since the appearance of Emilio in 1792. This work studies the psychological conceptions in the Rousseau’s proposal, identifying whose even present in the field of Educational Psychology.
